LEGAL / SERVICE TERMS
Service Terms
BayRecall is professional workshop software for preserving and retrieving diagnostic evidence. These terms explain account authority, subscriptions, workshop content, and the technician’s responsibility for every diagnosis and repair.
Agreement and professional use
These terms apply when you access or use the BayRecall website, casebook, report capture, subscriptions, and related support services. By using BayRecall, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Controlled-beta notice: public workshop registration remains closed while the final legal operator identity and postal contact details are completed and reviewed.
BayRecall is offered for professional workshop and diagnostic use. If you use it for a company, workshop, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Accounts, workshops, and team access
You must provide accurate account and workshop information, protect access to your account, and promptly remove members who should no longer have access. Google sign-in and secure email links provide access to the same private workshop permissions.
The workshop owner controls membership, billing, and workspace administration. Each user must use their own account. You are responsible for activity performed through accounts you control unless you promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
What BayRecall provides
BayRecall lets workshops create, import, organise, search, compare, export, and review their own diagnostic records. Features may include vehicle history, evidence matching, repair verification, attachments, reports, team access, and optional source-text extraction.
No automated diagnosis
BayRecall presents workshop evidence; it does not inspect a vehicle, guarantee that two faults share a cause, or make a diagnosis on behalf of a technician. Search ranks, related cases, record-quality indicators, and extracted drafts are aids for review—not repair instructions.
A qualified technician must review the vehicle, source evidence, safety information, test conditions, and proposed repair before acting. Do not rely on BayRecall as the only source for a safety-critical decision.
Free trial, plans, and billing
Controlled beta: paid subscriptions are not open. Any Stripe Checkout available to an invited workshop is a sandbox test and does not take real payment. The prices shown on this site are planned for a later paid launch.
14-day trialThe 14-day trial is currently tested in Stripe sandbox mode. Paid trial offers will be shown when subscriptions open.
Monthly continuationSandbox subscriptions can simulate monthly continuation and access limits, but do not charge real money.
Plan capacitySolo includes 1 seat, Workshop 3 seats, and Team 8 seats. Current prices and availability appear before confirmation.
Stripe billingStripe processes payment details, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation through its secure Checkout and customer portal.
Only a workshop owner may start or manage a subscription. Taxes may be added where required and are shown by Stripe before confirmation. Plan changes, renewal dates, and any immediate price adjustment are presented in the billing portal before you approve them.
You can cancel through the billing portal. Unless the portal states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid or trial period. Fees already charged are not refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed.
Your workshop content
The workshop keeps its rights in diagnostic records, reports, images, voice notes, and other material its members submit. You give BayRecall permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service for your workshop.
You must have the right to submit the content and should avoid unnecessary customer or vehicle-owner personal information. Do not upload material that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, contains malware, or exposes secrets that are not needed for diagnosis.
Workshop content is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. It is not sold or used as advertising content.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse BayRecall, bypass access or seat controls, access another workshop without permission, disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorisation, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use the service or its content to violate law or another person’s rights.
You may export and use your workshop’s records for its legitimate operations. BayRecall branding, software, interface, and documentation remain protected and may not be resold, copied as a competing service, or presented as your own.
Suspension, cancellation, and data access
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect accounts, workshop data, the service, or other users; respond to unlawful use; enforce these terms; or address unpaid subscription charges. Where practical, we will explain the issue and provide a way to resolve it.
If subscription access ends, existing workshop records remain searchable and exportable while new writes pause, subject to account security, lawful retention, and any later service-closure notice. A workshop owner may contact support@bayrecall.com about closure or export.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep BayRecall secure and available, but no online service is uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change as the product develops. Material changes that affect paid use will be communicated through the service or the account contact where reasonably possible.
To the extent permitted by law, BayRecall is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated in these terms. BayRecall is not responsible for vehicle damage, lost profit, or indirect loss caused by a workshop’s diagnostic or repair decision. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You remain responsible for suitable backups or exports needed by your workshop, safe working practices, professional judgement, and compliance with laws and manufacturer procedures that apply to your work.
Questions, disputes, and changes
Please contact us first if you have a service or billing concern so we can try to resolve it. Mandatory rights and the law applicable to your agreement are not displaced by these terms.
We may update these terms as BayRecall, its providers, or legal obligations change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice before a material change applies where required.
